I am an applied behavioural scientist working on impact measurement in global food systems. I am currently Head of Impact at ProVeg International, where I lead monitoring, evaluation and learning across 14 country offices.

My work sits between quantitative social science and organisational decision-making. I build the evidence base that tells organisations whether their programmes are actually working, including cost-effectiveness analyses and impact models covering animal lives averted and greenhouse gas emissions.

Previously I held research roles at Yale, Oregon State University, DEFRA and the University of Stirling.

My research interests broadly lie in these areas:

  • Impact measurement and cost-effectiveness analysis

  • Food systems transformation and plant-based diets

  • Behaviour change and demand reduction

  • Climate communication and activism

  • Applying AI tools to impact modelling and evidence synthesis
